Product Description

NXTware ESB is the first product made with the NXTware platform, then known as the NXTware Evolution Server. The NXTware platform was developed to provide an interactive and distributed software development platform for interacting with legacy software systems developed with an Enterprise Service Bus. NXTware is designed to be a portable application development environment for integration with an Enterprise Service Bus. Through a combination of legacy emulation and ESB technology, NXTware provides the interoperability required to support evolutionary transitions from one application platform to another.
  • no impact on existing systems
  • Bi-directional: Supports bi-directional communication in both RPC and MOM styles
  • Flexible Implementation: Can be implemented independently, in a web server environment or as an enterprise service provider.

Supported Legacy Platforms This development environment enables programmers to develop SOA applications that combine or independently use RPC, TCP/IP, DCE (COBOL, C/C++ and Java application logic) on a SOAP-enabled enterprise service bus (ESB).

The addition of Eclipse into eCube's NXTware Evolution Server platform provides NXTware ESB users with a comprehensive foundation for the integration and development of legacy and contemporary SOA, all from a single powerful development environment.

Users of MQ, RPG, COBOL, C and C++ legacy applications can use a rapid application development environment to expose existing legacy business logic as loosely-coupled services along a service bus – taking full advantage of messaging, business process support, scripting and XML transformation.
