NXTware IME, the industry's first integrated maintenance environment, is especially designed for software engineers responsible for maintain and extending existing CORBA-based Systems. Leveraging the Eclipse IDE, NXTware provides visual tooling that lowers the costs of maintaining, updating and integrating existing CORBA assets.

Using NXTware IME companies respond quickly to business demands: quickly extending capabilities, changing business logic and modifying runtime configurations.

At the same time, NXTware users get faster ROI from new technologies like SOAP and ESB, by allowing legacy CORBA services to be called from contemporary SOA platforms. NXTware can be used to generate interfaces and registry entries that allow SOA initiatives can be easily jump-started

All of this is accomplished with wizards that automate timer consuming tasks and allow less experience maintenance engineers and CORBA novices to be productive. There is no need to upgrade to newer versions of CORBA no extensive interface development.

The NXTware IME product was developed soon after the NXTware ESB product. It wasthe next step in the evolution of the appserver since an integrated development and maintenance environment was needed to maintain legacy applications like the ones that used Enterprise Service Bus.
